72% Syrah, 16% Mourvèdre, 12% Grenache 30% New French Oak Unfined, unfiltered and vegan pH 3.9 Santa Barbara County Deep ruby purple color with ripe raspberries, spice and blueberries on the nose. This classic southern Rhone style blend offers great balance and layers of flavor. On the palate, the berries and spice combine into a delicious melange of flavors with hints of plum and black pepper that last well into the finish. Delicious now on its own, it is also a great foil for barbecued meats and fowl, hard cheeses and hearty vegetarian fare. It can reward patience by continuing to develop over the next few years if you can stop yourself before then.  |

20% New French oak pH 3.6 Santa Barbara County Our first Grenache is light ruby with brick overtones in color and has strawberries, rhubarb and hints of leather in the nose. Ripe forward fruit with mulberry, cardamom, tea leaves and bits of leather on the first sip, it's medium body is belied by the depth and melange of flavors that make it seem richer than it is. The flavors meld into a long finish with strawberry and Dutch cocoa lingering on the palate balanced by soft tannins and grapey acids. Grenache is a fun, delicious and very versatile varietal as shown by this wine. It's wonderful on it's own, it pairs very well with hard cheeses, earthy stews, grilled foods including salmon and tuna, fowl, red meats, vegetables and tofu and it's a great foil for lighter red sauce on pasta. Enjoy it while it lasts. |

pH 3.7 Madera, Wulf Vineyard This elegant white wine has wonderful aromatics of honeysuckle, roses, pineapple and guava with a lovely golden-green hue. Delicate yet rich, it has forward citrus fruit and tropical fruit flavors that merge into a creamy mid palate. The long finish is highlighted with freshness and structure. This versatile wine can accompany everything from steamed fish to spicy, exotic Asian and Indian dishes, as well as delicate custards and pastries. |

pH 3.6 Unfined and vegan Santa Barbara County Our first Rosé is a classic Rhone style blend of 2/3 Grenache and 1/3 Mourvedre and has an expressive nose of strawberries, rose petals, and rhubarb. On the palate, a mélange of dried strawberries, kiwi fruit, dark cherries all come together to produce a delicious crisp and refreshing rosé. Good pairings are fruit and mild cheese plate, light appetizers, seafood and lighter chicken dishes. It’s terrific by itself on a nice warm day or evening. |

70% new French oak Unfined and Unfiltered pH 3.49 Santa Rita Hills, La Encantada Vineyard This Pinot Noir is comprised of 70% of clone 667 from Santa Rita Hills and 30% of clone 115 and 667 from higher altitudes in Arroyo Grande. This delicious Pinot Noir brings together the best of both worlds, the bright and elegant wild berry fruit and firm balance from Santa Rita Hills and the rich depth of flavor and lingering finish from Arroyo Grande, true synergy. |

45% new French oak Unfined and unfiltered pH 3.7 Arroyo Grande, Laetitia Vineyards Layers of black cherry, cola and raspberry dominate the nose. On the palate, raspberry and ripe cherry fruit fill the mouth with great depth of flavor extending into a broad, long finish. Very much in the Burgundian mode, this versatile dark garnet-colored Pinot can be paired with almost any dish, including organic stir-fried vegetables, grilled salmon, seared ahi and a wide array of cheeses. This cuvee' produced 650 cases and is a blend of three different clones which contribute greatly to its complexity. |

40% new French oak Unfined and Unfiltered & Vegan pH 3.6 This organic wine is elegantly balanced offering the lushness of Merlot with the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. In the nose there are ripe black cherries, hints of rhubarb and currants, it flows across the palate with lingering flavors of cassis and cherries giving way to soft tannins in the finish. There are no sulfites added in the winemaking and it is a vegan wine. |

40% new French oak pH 3.4 80% Cabernet Sauvignon – French Camp Vineyard, Paso Robles On the nose this Bordeaux inspired blend has a profusion of violets and cassis with hints of cedar and leather adding to it. Bright and elegant on the palate, there is a succession of currants and raspberry fruit accented with toasty cedar overtones. Well integrated and balanced the flavors last well into the very long finish, supported by round tannins. This wine is very enjoyable now but also will show rewards from aging. A great pairing with heartier foods, grilled entrees, aged and ripe cheeses. |

30% new French oak 20% Syrah pH 3.6 80% Cabernet A classic California Cabernet that truly expresses the terroir that Paso Robles Cabernet is known for due to our organic farming and a great vineyard that is one of the oldest and most famous in the area. It's varietally expressive nose has hints of dark chocolate, spices, cassis and smoked cedar. On the palate there are currants, wild raspberries, Provencál herbs and well integrated oak. It has the power one expects from Paso Robles Cabernet with the elegance and balance that Casa Barranca wines are known for. Firm and ripe it's immediately appealing and will continue to evolve for several years. A great match for grilled or roasted meats, especially lamb and beef, ripe and aged cheeses and meat based pastas. |
